BEFORE YOU PRAY

1. Make sure you’ve given your heart to Jesus.

2. Confess and renounce all your sins.

3. Purge yourself with the blood of Jesus.

4. Ask for the fire of the Holy Spirit to come upon you.

5. Study the lives of prayer eagles, e.g. Daniel.

6. Forgive all those who have offended you.

7. Get into the habit of fasting regularly.

8. Ensure that you pray for at least half an hour each day.

¹ The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
² for he founded it on the seas
    and established it on the waters.

³ Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
    Who may stand in his holy place?
⁴ The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
    who does not trust in an idol
    or swear by a false god.^[a]

⁵ They will receive blessing from the Lord
    and vindication from God their Savior.

1. O Lord, let my season of divine intervention appear in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord, let every blindness to the treasures of my life be cleared away by the blood of Jesus.

7. Let my divine helpers appear in the name of Jesus.
